Joseph Lotua

Chief Executive Officer

Joseph joined Kwekwe Investments in 2021 as the company’s founding director and was subsequently appointed as Chief Executive Officer in January 2022. Joseph is tasked with establishing and managing all five business units from the ground up, raising funds, and carefully allocating capital. His proven approach to sustaining positive growth: maintaining a strong balance sheet and delivering shareholder return.

Before Kwekwe Investments, Joseph served as the General Manager of Infrastructure Projects for Premier Group Limited and was responsible for the company’s construction and infrastructure development portfolio, including roads and bridges, housing, and bulk water infrastructure. Before that, Joseph worked for over five years in the Australian rail sector under John Holland, one of Australia’s leading engineering contractors.

Wilson Lekota

Chief Operations Officer

Wilson is an experienced executive with over 13 years of management experience in mining and the oil and gas sectors. He joined Kwekwe Investments in January 2022 as Chief Operations Officer.

Wilson oversees all operations across the Kwekwe business units, including business process management and strategy formulation, initiation and execution of capital projects, new business and acquisition, capacity development, and crucially, innovation.

Before joining Kwekwe Investments, he served as a managing director of Nile SLC, a subsidiary of Nile Petroleum Corporation, the national oil company of South Sudan. Wilson was responsible for developing downstream petroleum infrastructure and the fuel supply chain.

Wilson brings in deep operational experience from several sectors covering mineral exploration and resource development, commodities trading, and business and operational modelling. One of his key strengths is his comprehensive understanding of policy and regulatory frameworks across different jurisdictions.
